Choosing Your Outdoor Restaurant Furniture

Restaurant furniture is important to the success of any establishment. Sure, it may sound unfair, but if a restaurant’s furniture is poorly crafted, or if it is ill designed to suit the restaurant’s atmosphere, the overall dining experience will suffer. It happens time and time again. A restaurant with five star quality food could fail simply because it is unable to provide the proper ambience and setting.

Before rushing out and purchasing furniture for your restaurant, carefully consider what kind of restaurant you want to operate. For instance, a small diner might want restaurant furniture tables and outdoor restaurant furniture chairs that are fun and funky, with maybe a splash of color. On the other hand, a cafe styled restaurant may want to have glass tabletops and metal chairs. In addition, no pub or tavern is complete without suitable restaurant bar furniture. Think about it; would your favorite watering hole be complete without the requisite high table-tops and long backed chairs.

These outdoor restaurant furnishings are available in a wide array of materials. Wood, glass, metal, and plastic are just a few of the available options. Wood outdoor restaurant furniture is always a good choice. It is easy to clean, and virtually maintenance free. However, because it is so commonly selected, it often may make a restaurant seem ordinary. This does not mean that it should never be chosen; just that, all available options should be considered before making a decision.

Of course, you never want to forgo comfort just to have the right kind of style. Patrons appreciate comfort just as much as design. Your outdoor restaurant  furniture should be a good mix between the two. Just because a piece may look good, does not mean that it will be comfortable.

When in the market to buy outdoor restaurant furniture, consider conducting a web search. Because websites are in direct competition with one another, they have a large outdoor restaurant furniture supply and must offer aggressive wholesale pricing. This enables you to buy outdoor restaurant furniture without the fear of having been taken advantage. You can be assured that you are purchasing high quality pieces at a bottom line price.

Stop delaying your search any longer. The sooner you purchase quality and stylish outdoor furniture for your restaurant, the faster you can begin experiencing the satisfaction of owning a successful business. With a keen eye for both style and comfort, you will be assured of providing a pleasing ambiance and setting for your customers.

Enhancing The Experience With Outdoor Restaurant Furniture

When we decide where to eat out, our first concern is what type of cuisine is served at a particular restaurant. Quality of the food and cost are most important. But the overall ambiance, including the restaurant furniture, is also one of the things that will influence our decision.

Is the lighting too bright or too dark? Is the background music so loud that you have to shout to have a conversation with your table-mates? Is the restaurant bar furniture totally tattered and uncomfortable?

Restaurants furniture plays a significant part in the success or failure of an establishment. When someone decides to open a new outdoor restaurant and has to buy outdoor restaurant furniture, he or she goes to an outdoor restaurant furniture supply company to see what is available. The first thing that must be acknowledged is purchasing outdoor restaurant furniture tables and outdoor restaurant furniture chairs is not the same as buying similar items for home use. Restaurant seating furniture must be tough. It must withstand repeated assaults by kids’ toys, spilled drinks and sticky sauces. Outdoor furniture for restaurant use must also be attractive, comfortable and easy to maintain.

Outdoor wood restaurant furniture has been around for over a thousand years. The new twists have been the plethora of possibilities for using that old standby, wood, with the other materials that have been developed over time. Metal, plastic, resin and vegetative substances, such as bamboo (a grass), can be combined to make the ideal piece of outdoor restaurant furniture.

With globalization, restaurateurs are no longer limited to local wood products. Everything from imported teak to salvaged heart pine is now being used. Wood furniture made from new green products and recycled materials are among the choices that are environmentally friendly.

Booths, bars, tables and chairs are the basic restaurant furniture pieces. Most restaurants use a combination of these elements. But exactly how many of each and which style will work best in a given space is a crucial factor.

When it comes to selecting restaurant seating furniture, comfort is paramount. A comfortable customer is likely to be a regular patron of a restaurant. Upholstered pieces should have sufficient padding and must be covered with quality material that can withstand the heavy demand of commercial use. Leather, fabric and vinyl can be used, depending on design and budget requirements.

Today, owners of theme and regional cuisine restaurants have endless options for furnishing their establishment. Authentic-looking reproductions of everything from English pub pieces to 1950s diner booths, mid-century modern chairs to fancy French provincial tables are on the market. For a truly retro look, we can even go back millions of years to the age of dinosaurs and buy fossilized stone tabletops.

Suppliers of Different Restaurant Furniture

If you are opening up a new restaurant or refurnishing your existing shop, you are going to be purchasing new restaurant furniture. There are several different types of stores you can purchase your new furniture from, each with it is good and bad points. The three I am going to discuss are online stores, restaurant supply distributors and furniture wholesalers.

Online furniture stores range from local furniture stores, furniture wholesalers and online only furniture stores. If you are shopping online, odds are the people you are going to see are the furniture companies that only are online as marketing online is much different than the traditional marketing that most furniture stores do. For example, the top results for “wholesale furniture” currently are an online only furniture store, a online marketer that actually has no store online or otherwise, and the third is a furniture store. What these three results have in common is not that they are the best choice for wholesale furniture for your restaurant but they are the best online marketers. You are going to get the best price on furniture from a direct importer or a furniture wholesaler rather than a store. A store typically has to buy from a manufacturer and then resell it at a mark up. My suggestion to you is to dig a little deeper in the listings until you find a result that looks like a true wholesaler. These are typically your highest price options.

You can also buy your restaurant furniture at a restaurant supply distributor. These are vendors that sell you the knives, food processors and stoves. What they have in passion for a fine working microwave they typically lack in style of choices of interior furniture. Since they are the parties that are most on top of who is opening a restaurant, by all means ask for a catalog but do not be disappointed when your selections look like they are from a 1950s diner. These are typically your medium price options with a lower style quality.

In my opinion, the best place to shop for restaurant furniture is from a furniture wholesaler. Not all furniture wholesalers will sell to you directly, instead they may protect their dealer base by directing you to a local store, but some will sell directly. Be prepared to pay sales tax as you are the end user of the furniture. The reason why you should consider furniture wholesalers is the cost advantage, up to 60% off or more than a typical furniture store. If that is not incentive enough, I do not know what is.

Will I love being in Heaven?

If I am a retired multi-millionaire living in a nice big mansion out in the country owning a brand new luxury SUV, a classic luxury car, having lots of nice clothes to wear, having nice furniture, nice stereo equipment and having an outdoor swimming pool/jacuzzi in my backyard will I love being in Heaven?

If I am living the life of being able to travel all around the world constantly, getting to eat all of my favorite meals at my favorite restaurants, getting to go to plenty of rock/metal concerts, professional sporting events and having all of the friends I want will I love being in Heaven?

I am a Christian and I do believe that Jesus is God, I also our Heavenly Father and the Holy Spirit is God and that Jesus has died for our sins and rose back from the dead and loves each and every one of us and that He is the only way to Heaven

Hotel Sanur Beach, Bali: who's stayed there?

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Sanur Beach in Bali, specifically in a Deluxe Garden Room? What did they think of this room type in particular? Room size, bed, bathroom, outdoor furniture, comforts, etc. What did they think of the hotel in terms of the service, facilities, beach, breakfast and cafes and restaurants? Does anyone know of any particularly good places to go shopping in Sanur, or other eating places nearby?

Also rght across the street have just buit 4 new houses and they are now for sale. Will this activity affect my home property value in any way? Of note, within the city they are also builing a new town center outdoor mall and condos with a 1 million price tag per unit attached (within 3 miles of me).

What restaurants/stores allow dogs?

I live in the Burbank (Los Angeles) area, and like to take my little 14.5 pound dogge everywhere with me.. trouble is, so few places allow pets, unlike Europe. :o ) I’ve taken her to Staples, Lowes, Home Depot, Virgils, furniture stores like Levitz and Easy Life, obviously Petco.. I realized that wherever they sell food, they won’t let you take dogs, such as Ikea and Target. What places do you know of that will allow pets (in a soft sided carrier)? I’ve heard outdoor restaurants (restaurants with terraces) like Baja Fresh sometimes let.. I’m wondering about places like Michaels, or In-N-Out.. Anybody have any experiences with this? She’s not TEENY so I can’t just stick her in my bag, even though she doesn’t make any noise. She’s so polite and loves to go places in her carrier :o )
Thanks for your concern, but I really don’t want advice on whether or not I should take my dog out on trips. I do know what’s best for her, and I would never, ever put her in a position where she would be uncomfortable. She thoroughly enjoys trips out with me, and even I can’t go shopping for hours and hours, lol, much less my dog. We also don’t go everyday.. don’t have that much free time :o )
Like I said, please no advice on whether or not I SHOULD take her out, as I already mentioned. I do take her out, and like I said, she’s in a carrier. She doesn’t shed, she’s a Bichon Poo, their hair has to be combed out. Also, she’s pretty much hypo-allergenic and doesn’t cause allergies. Me and my doggie don’t hurt anyone, believe me, and I certainly don’t hurt her in any way. She hates being left alone at home, and gets very depressed (although, of course I do have to leave her alone sometimes, definitely.. like for school/work/groceries, etc.).. so if you can’t answer my question directly, please don’t answer at all. Thanks.

What is the clear coating on restaurant dining tables?

Say I have a wooden dining table that I love but I hate having to use table pads and a table cloth just to have an informal meal because I don’t want spills and condensation to ruin the finish on my table.

What I would like to know is: What is that clear, high-gloss, waterproof, scratch proof coating I see on restaurant tables and sometimes on stair railings or outdoor railings and other outdoor wood fixtures and furniture? Is is a special polyurethane or some kind of lacquer? If anyone knows what it is, do you know if it can be easily applied by a novice to any wood fixture or furniture?

Thanks in advance.

what is the best place to have a romantic ocean sde picnic on Saturday afternoon in San Francisco?

I saw a TV show the other day and a couple was having lunch in what looked like a park with views of the ocean and the Golden Gate bridge. At first I thought they were in a park, but they were sitting on outdoor lounge furniture and the ordered from menus so it was obviously a restaurant. I will be taking my wife to SF in a couple of weeks and would love eat at this place. Does anyone know the name of the place? Thanks in advance for your help.
